You need to think of all of them as people, not labels. The story would’ve worked if it was a femme bi-sexual woman moving in on a straight guy when his girl walked out. The idea is that there’s a PERSON that’s falling for another PERSON who is in a relationship with a PERSON that doesn’t treat them right and the first PERSON is convinced that they can do better. That’s all. And she didn’t “steal” her. Dude fucked up all on his own and she moved in and picked up the pieces.
